USADA announced today that Miles Johns, of Dallas, Texas, has accepted a public warning for failing to obtain a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) prior to his use of an otherwise prohibited medication. Johns’ violation resulted from his use of Adderall, a prescription medication that he used under the care of a physician for a diagnosed medical condition. Johns, 28, has since submitted a TUE application to authorize future use of this medication in sport.
Johns’ positive test also falls under the jurisdiction of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, which has resolved the case in accordance with its rules.
USADA conducts the year-round, independent anti-doping program for all UFC athletes. Many of the resources available to athletes are provided in multiple languages, including Russian, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Korean, and Japanese.
