Overview
USADA’s Outreach Education Booths provide a fun and interactive education opportunity. Usually held at a sporting or community event, a USADA outreach Education Booth encourages young and junior-level athletes to be proactive about understanding anti-doping and the core principles of completing clean.

  • Coaches
  • General Public
 
 
Method of Delivery
USADA's Outreach Edcuation Booths are set up to deliver one-on-one Education delivered by a USADA Ambassador. Ambassadors include elite Olympic & Paralympic athletes & coaches, other experts and/or USADA staff.

Tailored to the audience, content & activities can include, but are not limited to:

  • Why Sport?
  •  Why clean sport?
  •  Competing clean
  •  Pursing victory with Honor
  •  Ethics & Decision-Making
  •  Body Image
  •  Setting Goals
  •  Nutrition
  •  Coaches duty of Care and Moral Obligation
  •  Consequences of using drugs in sport
  •  Core Anti-Doping Issues (TUEs, Prohibited List,Whereabouts/Testing, Rights/Responsibilities)
 
 
 To Partner with USADA for a Outreach Education Booth
  • The event should have 600 participants or more
  • USADA has the resources to staff the booth
  • Appropriate venue and facilities are available to conduct the Outreach booth
  • An appropriate site contact is allocated to assist USADA with on-site program logistics
**A small fee may be required in order to accommodate some requests.
