About USADA's Anti-Doping Program

USADA's mission to Preserve the Integrity of CompetitionInspire True Sport, and Protect the Rights of U.S. Athletes, is supported by it's anti-doping and testing program.

Often regarded as the gold standard in the athletic anti-doping movement, USADA has instituted a highly effective program in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Code and the WADA International Standards (IST) to protect clean athletes and ensure their rights to compete on a fair and level playing field, free from the pressures of performance enhancing drugs.

USADA's anti-doping program utilizes both in-competition (event) testing as well as no-advanced notice, out-of-competition testing. Athletes are subject to both urine and blood testing 365 days a year and tests can occur at any time and any place.
